Girls in Energy · 2025 / 2026

She powers the planet.

A movement moving girls from the periphery of the energy sector to the frontline of science, technology and innovation — so the transition to net zero is a just one.

Why it matters

Net zero is a question of equity.

As the world pivots toward sustainable industrialisation, the Global South stands at a crossroads. To make the transition just, we must dismantle the gender and age barriers that keep young women from leading the energy revolution.

By localising global climate goals, we are building the Girls in Energy Village — an ecosystem where youth-led STI democratises access to the value chains of the modern energy economy.
